Hyperlordosis of the lumbar spine

1. Normal shape

2. Hyperlordosis: the Lumbar spine is too far forwards and the pelvis is tipped forwards.
Likely to cause pain across the low back due to excessive weight bearing in the red zones.

2. 5th Lumbar vertebra displaced to the right.
Likely to cause pain on one side spreading into the Sacro-iliac joint, up the spine and down the back of the leg as Sciatica.

3. Spread of pain and spasm along the spinal muscles

Likely to cause great pain and widespread muscle spasm as well as Sciatica.
