Hello, my name is Paul Manley.

I qualified from the European School of Osteopathy, Maidstone, Kent in 1980 after which I immediately began my professional career working alongside my Father, Alfred, who had been an Osteopath since 1960. I have been in practice since 1980 treating the everyday injuries that we are all prone to as well as specialising in RSI ( Repetitive Strain ) injuries of all types. See my article on RSI HERE.

I have treated over 25,000 individuals for back problems, shoulder pain, neck pain and other conditions and have given over 80,000 treatments over a period of 28 years in full-time practice. You can be assured of a thorough, warm, understanding and effective approach when you consult me for help.

Constant research coupled with daily practical application has enabled me to develop and refine the many unique soft tissue adjustment and re-alignment techniques I employ to resolve patients conditions. See treatment methods page

I joined the Association of Osteomyologists several years ago and have been practicing as an Osteomyologist ever since.

Anatomy of the hand and forearm for musicians and RSI sufferers:
I specialise in Musicians RSI problems. I have been working in conjunction with the major music colleges for many years succesfully treating RSI, tendon and joint strains of the wirst, finger joints, forearm and elbow.

New to this website is my Hall of Fame. By popular request I have created a list of 42 of my better known patients. I hope you find this of some fascination, bearing in mind that there have been thousands more not quite so famous people who have also passed through my hands.

Also new: a Shoulder joint page, fully illustrated along with descriptions of what I commonly find in such cases.

The latest addition is a new page on common problems associated with the hip joint.
